TFD Induction Power Supply

The TFD Induction Power Supply is the new standard for transistorized power supplies.
Optimized for performance with Digital-iQ™ Control
The TFD Induction Power Supply is designed with flexibility in mind as is easily matched to the working load to suit the required induction coil configuration. During operation, panel-mounted digital meters continuously display power (kW), frequency (kHz), output current and voltage.
Critical running parameters are continually monitored, at high speed, to ensure the unit operates properly. The TFD allows for simultaneous regulation to power, voltage, current, and optional temperature limits via pyrometer or T/C. These signals are readily available for interface with an external PC based monitoring and data storage system, the Digital-iQ Manager.
Robust Design is Critical
The TFD Induction Power Supply is available in models to match single turn High Current/Low Voltage and brazing coils through to multi-turn High Voltage coils (2000 V) commonly used for multi-turn hardening or tempering, crystal growing, CVD, wire, tube, pipe and strips heating along with many other induction heating applications.
Available with built-in load tuning capacitors and multi-tappable output isolation transformers, a variety of heating coils can be matched for full power operation over a range of load conditions. Optional Heat Stations are available to allow the power supply to be located away from the heating location.
Allowing for standalone or ensemble operation, TFD power supplies are designed to interface seamlessly with a wide array of fixtures, conveyors, robotics, and other part handling machines such as Induction Scanners.
Digital-iQ Controls
The TFD Induction Power Supply is equipped with the intuitive, high-speed Digital-iQ™ control platform. Built from the ground up for the simplicity of uses the intuitive user interface, makes any task quick and precise simple Digital-iQ™ controls provide advanced communication, control, and programming features to achieve unbeatable accuracy. The Digital iQ™ controllers integrate ultra-high-speed signal processing and control response.
Each unit can be operated by direct manual controls on the unit, programmed via an internal digital controller, by a programmable logic controller with virtually unlimited recipe storage, by the external programmable logic controller, by external optional PC with Digital-iQ Manager or from a remote control box. Digital iQ™ Manager software allows operators to remotely connect, control, and monitor all the telemetry from a TFD unit. The unit can monitor and graph multiple data sources on the remote unit allowing for precise monitoring of process parameters. Processing the Digital-iQ™ controller data is simple as graphs and tables are printable, and tabulated data is exportable as excel workbooks.
Multi-level password protection secures data and can easily be created using the digital interface.
