Radyne Ships Brass-Shell Body Induction Annealing System


Milwaukee, WI – Radyne Corp., an innovative, state of the art induction system manufacturer, delivers a brass shell body induction annealing system for our nation’s military.

This induction system features a feeder bowl, cam driven escapement, continuous feed dial indexer, and auto unload which anneals two sizes of brass shells at a nominal rate of 6600 parts per hour. This hardening process uses a Radyne 25kW induction power converter.

PLC controls with HMI interface offers superior control capabilities assuring the highest quality and repeatability of any induction system. For system cooling, an integrated closed-loop water recirculation system is included.
