Radyne and the Inductotherm Group offer induction heating equipment for the many different parts utilized in the world's best cars and trucks. To ensure high reliability, components require specialized thermal processing, brazing, and shrink fitting solutions. Quality parts emerge from quality ideas and efforts. Radyne offers a partnership approach from process feasibility of your part design, through machine design, manufacturing and installation.

Automotive Parts Produced with Induction Equipment

Radyne and the Inductotherm Group has a well established history of designing induction heating equipment that is used for heat treating parts for assembly, bearings, brakes, drive train, gears, joints and shafts. Radyne additionally provides equipment for brazing fuel filler tubes, brake lines, fuel rails, fuel pumps, fuel lines and many others.  The following list describes several automotive parts that we have designed machines for heat treating.

Induction Heating Systems for Producing:

Assembly: fuel filler tubes, fuel lines, fuel rails, metal hem flange bonding, shrink fitting, heat staking of expandable mastic material, rear view mirror button bonding. Bearings: bearing race, bearing & hub, flanged inner/outer bearings, pins. Brakes: brake lines, shoes, ABS brake sleeves and other wear resistant components. Drive Train: engine (crankshafts & camshafts), transmission (clutch, hubs & pinions), driveshafts differentials, and the final drive (drive wheels). Gears: ring gears, sprockets, worm gears, helical gears. Joints: CV joints, tulips male/female, bells. Shafts: rear & front axel, stub shaft, shaft armatures, bar-end.
