. Our State of the Art Flexitune range of power supplies offers the usFlexitune Power Supplieser a selection of power and frequency combinations suitable for most induction heating applications. The availability of the latest IGBT power semi-conductors with faster switching characteristics has permitted Radyne to produce a new power supply ideally suited to induction heating applications from 20 to 60 kHz. The Flexitune's current source parrallel output design is ideally suited to driving high q loads.

Operation
Operation can be by direct manual controls on the unit, Programmed via internal digital controller, from a remote control box or PLC. A built-in microcontroller provides an adjustable range of heat cycle times. NOTE: Coil Guarding must be used to safeguard Coils per NEC code. 

Control
During converter operation, panel mounted digital meters continuously display actual power (kW), frequency (kHz), output current (I) and voltage (V). Critical running parameters are continually monitored and, if fault conditions are detected, the converter is automatically shut down. Status indication and matching assistance is provided by front panel LEDs. These signals are readily available for interface with an external host system to provide diagnostic facilities.
