Merlin
The most efficient means of heating and coating field joints is to carry out the two processes simultaneously – the very ethos of the technology behind our ‘Merlin’ system. With integrated induction coils, and the use of multiple coating heads, Merlin allows the automated precision control of the heat and coat process in the shortest possible time. Merlin applies a precise two-coat FBE and copolymer coating delivering a fast overall time cycle, vertical or horizontal application and minimum manning levels. The benefits of the Merlin system have been proven on several international pipeline projects.. |
